"Meet You Again" is a song by American rapper and singer Wiz Khalifa, featuring American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth. "See You Again" was written past DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, and Andrew Cedar. It was produced by DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, and Andrew Cedar.[v] Frank Eastward and Puth were approached by their publishing visitor, Artist Publishing Grouping, to develop a melody that could pay tribute to actor Paul Walker for the film Furious 7 (2015). Puth became emotionally fastened while writing the track, recalling Vail Cerullo, a friend of Puth's time at Berklee Higher of Music, who died in a motorcycle blow in 2012.[vii] [eight] He was at first reluctant that the film's soundtrack label, Atlantic Records, would cull his vocal for the song. The video was nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Collaboration at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, but lost both.[44] On August 27, 2016, the music video surpassed "Gangnam Style" as YouTube's most liked video of all time, afterwards "Gangnam Style" held the record for most four years.
